The natural juice, which is boiled until it thickens and molasses-rich sugar crystals begin to settle. Then it is refined until crystals are pure and brilliant (45 ICUMSA max).

Cane sugar that we sell is from West Indies, Africa, Caribbean and Ocean Pacific countries.

This quality of sugar belongs to N°2 or N°1 CEE standards. Indeed, it is conform to the trading criteria among the European Union and it fits to human consomption standards of the Codex Alimentarius.

This type of sugar has a white quality or also known as refined because its colour is less than 45 ICUMSA.

It will give to your products an exotic and natural way without secondary effects on colour or taste.

This is a many-sided product : it is used in jam and mermelade manufacturing, candied fruits and other kind of preparations like the ones of regular beet sugar.

Brown unrefined cane sugar

These sugars are from Mauritius, La Réunion and Gualeloupe French Islands.

The cane is gathered between June and October in the Pacific Islands. At Guadaloupe, the harvest period is from February until June.

The sugar cane is treated at the mill and then sugar is packaged and sent constantly by containner to Bordeaux’s harbor.

These products keep all their natural features included on the prior sugary juice. It gives a note of exoticism and originality.

If sugar is wisely eaten, it is considered as dietetic and good for human body.

The grain size is 0,2 to 1,0 mm

Dark unrefined cane sugar

Origine : Ile Maurice, Côte d'Ivoire, Réunion, Guadeloupe

These sugars are darker. This is because of a shorter processing and centrifugation time than other sugars.

Sugar retains some of the surface molasses syrup, which imparts a characteristic pleasurable flavor.

Normally called « Cassonade » or  Dark Brown sugar, its colour is over 1200 ICUMSA.

Otherwise, their saccharose content is about 99%.

It will give to your products a note of authentic, nice amber colour and a special fudge flavour.

The grain size is 0,4 to 1,0 mm

Raw sugar

Raw sugar comes from Mauritius Island and its not refined is very dark brown. It has a particularly strong molasses flavor. The crystals are slightly coarser and stickier in texture than "regular" brown sugar.

It is used in confectionery, bakery and pastry uses for making cakes and gingerbread.

Its packaged in 50 kg bags with an interior plastic bag.
